The Baylor University Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) online program, MPH@Baylor, that prepares aspiring public health professionals to improve the quality of life across populations on a local and global scale.
MPH Online Curriculum
The MPH online curriculum—delivered by our highly experienced faculty—explores a service-oriented approach to community health science. Discover an online CEPH-accredited program designed to teach the next generation of public health professionals how to promote health equity in their communities.
As an MPH@Baylor student, you will focus your MPH studies in community health science. Learn practical tools and skills to serve vulnerable populations through cross-disciplinary collaboration and connections with respected public health organizations.

You can choose to complete the 42-credit program on a full-time, part-time, or accelerated basis. The time to complete varies based on your chosen track:
- Full time: 18 months
- Part time: 24 months
- Accelerated: 12 months
Online MPH Admissions
The Baylor University Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences MPH online program upholds the same academic standards as its on-campus equivalent.
If you would like to join our community of service-driven professionals, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the United States, and an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Three letters of recommendation
- A personal statement
GRE scores are not required to apply. However, the GRE is recommended for applicants with less than three years of relevant work experience or applicants who have not previously earned a master’s degree.

Online MPH Tuition and Financial Aid
The Master of Public Health (MPH) online program is a 42-credit program that provides the same challenging and interactive education as Baylor’s on-campus MPH program. Tuition for the current school year is $1,785 per credit hour. There is an additional $100 administrative fee per term. Please note that tuition and fees are subject to change and may increase each academic year.
Financial Aid
There are various ways to fund your Baylor education. When evaluating how to pay for your degree, you should consider a number of options, including personal resources, external scholarships, employer tuition assistance, and student loans.

During Immersion Weekend, students also become immersed in the Baylor community and culture. Students will participate in trainings on social determinants of health, intervention design, and community assessment. Students will also partner with professionals from diverse backgrounds to delve into community health practice.
