About Baylor's On-Campus MPH Program
Baylor University's on-campus Master of Public Health program equips students to promote population health in a wide range of public health settings. Our strong practice-based approach, global health opportunities, and low faculty-student ratios provide our students with a quality learning experience that can enhance career development.
Baylor offers four degree program options:
- MPH in Bioethics
- MPH in Community Health Science
- MPH in Environmental Health Science
- MPH in Epidemiology

MPH Program Admissions
Baylor enrolls a new cohort of MPH students each fall semester. Applications are accepted via the SOPHAS application system. Baylor MPH admissions requirements include:
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Personal Statement
- Two Reference Letters
- Official Transcripts
- Optional - GRE Scores
Prospective students who apply by the Priority Application Deadline will receive priority consideration for scholarship awards and assistantship opportunities.
MPH Program Funding
All accepted residential Master of Public Health Students receive 50% tuition remission. In addition to the 50% tuition remission, paid graduate assistantships—known as Graduate Student Employee (GSE) positions—are available for full-time, on campus Baylor MPH students, to apply to at the beginning their first semester in the program.

In Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, faculty are pursuing innovative research aimed at making a positive impact across the cancer journey—from prevention to treatment to survivorship. Driven by a calling to make a difference through their skills and expertise, these researchers are transforming lives, one study at a time.
In the heart of Dallas, Texas, Master of Public Health in Epidemiology alumna Natalie Noreen, MPH, works directly with individuals who are currently living at the edges of America’s healthcare system. She says Baylor professors helped to shape how she sees people—not as diagnoses or datasets, but as whole human beings.
When it was time to choose her practicum experience for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program, Serena Enriquez was connected to The Neighborhood & Health Study that examines public health outcomes in agriculturally focused neighborhoods, or “agrihoods.” Through this opportunity, Enriquez gained experience in the intersection of agriculture and health.
In 2025, Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences researchers published more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals and publications. View examples from across the College, as well as a selection of grant-funded projects.
