Scholarships and Assistantships
Prospective students who apply to the Baylor Master of Public Health program will receive consideration for scholarship awards. Currently, scholarships covering up to 50% of tuition are offered to competitive applicants.
All students admitted into Baylor’s on-campus MPH program will be considered for a scholarship award. Applicants will be notified of an award concurrently with their notification of admission.
In addition to generous scholarship opportunities, paid graduate assistantships—known as Graduate Student Employee (GSE) positions—are available for full-time, on campus Baylor MPH students, to apply to at the beginning their first semester in the program. Assistantships are available on a limited basis, so we encourage applicants to apply early. Learn more about graduate assistantships and how to apply here.
FAFSA
To be considered for federal, state, and Baylor need-based financial aid including loans, grants, and need-based Baylor scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is no fee to complete the FAFSA. Students should continue to complete the FAFSA for federal and state aid annually.
Baylor's school code is 003545. Baylor normally receives the results of the FAFSA within two to three business days.
CSS Profile
The College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile provides a more in-depth evaluation of a family's financial situation. While the FAFSA focuses mainly on income and family size, the Profile uses other important data such as home value and cost of living expenses. This allows schools to more equitably award their need-based aid. Incoming students who are interested in need-based aid are required to submit the Profile for their first year at Baylor.
