Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) with a Pre-Physician Assistant Concentration
Baylor University’s Pre-Physician Assistant (PA) concentration for the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) program aims to prepare students for entrance into a PA program through a public health lens. The curriculum is designed to help students meet entrance criteria for PA programs while providing a well-rounded, population-health focused foundation for a future healthcare career.
Curriculum
Course requirements for Baylor’s BSPH with a Pre-PA concentration provide students with an education that both meets the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals while also meeting PA program prerequisite requirements. The coursework adds significant value to PA program preparation by emphasizing public health-oriented concepts such as global health challenges, population health and prevention, and health policy and equity.
