Rebecca Jones-Antwi, PhD
Assistant Professor
Rebecca Jones-Antwi is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Public Health. She received her PhD in Nutrition and Health Sciences in 2020 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular epidemiology and health disparities both from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. Dr. Jones-Antwi joined Baylor as a full-time faculty member in 2023.
Dr. Jones-Antwi has experience in primary data collection, survey design, and quantitative data analysis. Nationally she serves as an early career representative in the American Heart Association and American Society for Nutrition. Her research focuses on the relationship between places and health, with a focus on the contextual, social, and environmental determinants of health. The major themes center on understanding obesity dynamics across the lifecourse, migration, and multidisciplinary methodologies.
