Dr. Liang Wang is a tenured Associate Professor and Director of Epidemiology at Baylor University. He assumes responsibility for developing/teaching undergraduate and graduate epidemiology courses; recruiting and mentoring a diverse student body; working collaboratively with public health faculty and Baylor leadership; and building local and global public health partnerships. Dr. Wang was trained with MD in Clinical Medicine and DrPH and MPH both in Epidemiology. He is an elected Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and Fellow of The Obesity Society. He was a Visiting Scientist/Scholar at Harvard and UNC Chapel Hill in their Schools of Public Health. His research focuses on obesity, nutrition epidemiology, health education and promotion.
