Tuition and Financial Aid
FAFSA
To be considered for federal, state, and Baylor need-based financial aid including loans, grants, and need-based Baylor scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There is no fee to complete the FAFSA. If at all possible, use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to access your 2021 income tax return(s). Student should continue to complete the FAFSA for federal and state aid annually.
Baylor's school code is 003545. Baylor normally receives the results of the FAFSA within two to three business days.
CSS Profile
The College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile provides a more in-depth evaluation of a family's financial situation. While the FAFSA focuses mainly on income and family size, the Profile uses other important data such as home value and cost of living expenses. This allows schools to more equitably award their need-based aid. Incoming students who are interested in need-based aid are required the submit the Profile for their first year at Baylor.
